Granville Lowry Beedle died as he and Mammee (Elizabeth Belle Simpson), his grandmother, stepped off of a street car and were struck by a passing motorist, on October 8th, 1921. Lowry died instantly; Mammee suffered a broken arm and two fractured ribs.
