Death of W. H. Beedle.
William Henry Beedle, a well known Pullman car conductor, died Thursday at his residence in West Oakland, after a long illness. He served in the Second Maine battery, First Regiment mounted artillery, and in Company 22, Second Battalion V. R. C. He was honorably discharged November 21st, 1865, at Washington. The funeral will take place at two o’clock this afternoon from the Chester street M. E. Church, corner of Ninth and Chester streets.
