WILLIAM HEALY

                              August 9, 1764 TO October 1, 1850

 

WILLIAM5 HEALY (NATHANIEL4, JOSHUA3, NATHANIEL2, WILLIAM1)79 was born August 09, 1764 in Dudley, Worcester Co., Massachusetts, and died October 01, 1850.  He married PRUDENCE LYON June 10, 1788.  She was born 1766 of Woodstock, Windham Co., Connecticut, and died of consumption July 09, 1843 in Dudley, Worcester Co., Massachusetts - age 76 y 9 m 17 d. They owned a farm on Healy Road which  was still a high grade farm in 1913. Deacon William Healy was for many years Deacon of the Congregational Church of Dudley, and a very highly respected citizen.

 iv. SALLY HEALY, b. December 13, 1796, Dudley, Worcester Co., Massachusetts80. Christened: October 05, 1800, Dudley, Worcester Co., Massachusetts80; d. September 05, 1855.  She married BENJAMIN BRADFORD September 27, 1821.  He was born August 04, 1780 in Woodstock, Windham Co., Connecticut, and died April 17, 1857. He was a 7th  generation descendant of Governor Bradford of Plymouth.

June 26, 1836, Woodstock, Windham Co., Connecticut; m. HENRY BRIGGS, February 12, 1857, Dudley, Worcester Co., Massachusetts; b. November 04, 1834, of North Woodstock, Windham Co., Connecticut; d. November 04, 1862, of Dudley, Worcester Co., Massachusets.

x. MARIA HEALY, b. April 25, 1808, Dudley, Worcester Co., Massachusetts; d. April 01, 1864, Providence, Rhode Island; m. JOHN BOWERS, December 01, 1836, Dudley, Worcester Co., Massachusetts80.  She married JOHN BOWERS December 01, 1836 in Dudley, Worcester Co., Massachusetts.  He was born September 14, 1805 in Thompson, Windham Co., Connecticut, and died February 04, 1863 in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. Rev. John Bowers was pastor of the Congregational Church in North Wilbraham, Mass. from 12/1837 to 5/1856. He was settled over the Congregational Church in East St. Johnsbury, Vt. 2/4/1858. Both he and his wife are buried in Wilbraham, Mass. They had;
ELLEN PRISCILLA BOWERS, b. October 08, 1837, Dudley, Worcester Co., Massachusetts; d. 1914, unmarried. She was a teacher; retired and lived in South Hadley, Mass.  GEORGE CHAMPION BOWERS, b. January 04, 1840, Wilbraham, Massachusetts; d. December 20, 1910, Washington D.C.; m. IDA E. ROGERS, May 28, 1867, Corning, Steuben Co., New York; d. Aft. , of Washington D.C..
 xi. PRUDENCE HEALY, b. August 16, 1789; m. (1) PARKER WILLARD, January 26, 1809; b. June 26, 1788, Dudley, Worcester Co., Massachusetts; d. October 20, 1812; m. (2) REUBEN TAFT, February 29, 1824.
