From research done by Michael L. Beedle and published in his book “The Beedle and Torpe Heritage”, February 2021:
“Thomas Beedle married Elizabeth Baker in Tiverton on 27th May 1760. On 4th April 1763 they baptized their son Thomas in Bickleigh, a small village four miles from Tiverton. Later Thomas and Elizabeth had another son John Beedle who was baptized in Bickleigh on 12th August 1774. This John is most likely the one who went to the USA.”
